After Los Angeles car crash, Anne Heche is in stable condition, a rep says
After a terrifying vehicle accident in Los Angeles, Anne Heche is now being treated in the hospital and is doing well.
According to a representative for the actress, the 53-year-old is now in stable condition but sustained burns in the collision. The spokesman said, “During this difficult time, her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers as well as your respect for her privacy.
The representative said that the incident is still being investigated.
Heche slammed her vehicle into a residence, and CBS Los Angeles videotaped the devastation that resulted. The blue Mini Cooper was seen rushing down the roadway in another footage before colliding with the ground.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s public information officer would only tell ET that a car struck a house in the 1700 block of Walgrove Avenue at 10:55 a.m., but they wouldn’t say who was driving it, what kind of car it was, which hospital it was at, or if anybody was hurt.
According to the LAPD, the car caught fire, and an ambulance took the driver to a nearby hospital to get medical attention.
Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the single passenger car in issue collided with and came to rest within a 738 square foot, two-story house, compromising its structural integrity and igniting a large fire before LAFD arrived.
Following the incident, Thomas Jane and James Tupper, two of Heche’s ex-boyfriends, each released a statement. Heche is “likely to come through,” according to Jane, who collaborated with Heche on his HBO programme Hung.
