Watching Suni Lee's Official First Pitch at a Minnesota Twins Game

Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee was ecstatic when she threw out the first pitch for the Minnesota Twins game!

The 19-year-old gymnast stunned the audience by flipping off the mound before to tossing out the pitch during Friday night’s Blue Jays-Twins game at Target Field in Minneapolis. For the event, Lee wore a Twins jersey that was personalised, denim shorts, and white sneakers.

There was a clear “ooOh” following Lee’s flip, indicating that the audience was quite pleased with the performance. Before being posed for a picture with Twins pitcher Caleb Thielbar and the club mascot, C.T. Bear, Lee flung her arms in the air after tossing out the pitch.

The official Twitter account for Major League Baseball was still in awe of the performance on Saturday. We’re still in shock after @sunisaleefirst ‘s pitch last night, the account tweeted.

The image was published by the team’s Twitter account along with the message, “A lovely flipping for nice first pitch by @sunisalee_!!!”

“Such an honour getting to throw out the first pitch, thank you @twins,” Lee, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, said afterward.
