Response from Britney Spears to Kevin Federline's "Hurtful"
In response to Kevin Federline’s frank interview regarding her 13-year conservatorship and her relationship with her boys, Britney Spears has spoken.

The Daily Mail revealed a section of a forthcoming ITV interview on August 6 in which Federline made a number of comments on his ex-conservatorship, wife’s her relationship with her boys, her nude images, and her father, Jamie Spears. Sean and Jaden, two adolescent kids that they had together, were born during Kevin and Britney’s 2004–2007 marriage. In 2008, a temporary—then permanent—conservatorship over Britney’s property, estate, and business operations was awarded to her father and a lawyer. Britney was free to marry her fiancé Sam Asghari in June 2022 after the conservatorship was eventually lifted in November 2021.

In the most recent interview, Kevin said that “the lads have decided they are not seeing her right now.” They haven’t seen her in a few months. They decided against attending her wedding. Federline cited one of the sources of their uneasiness as being explicitly “nude” photographs on his ex-Instagram wife’s profile. To make matters worse, Victoria Prince, Federline’s current wife, was also questioned about their family. Victoria added, “This is a typical household, a family… full of love. “This house has nothing to do with whatever is going on outside.” The remainder of the interview may be read here.

The following day, Britney Spears responded to the interview by calling it “hurtful.” On August 6, she said in an Instagram story, “It hurts me to learn that my ex-husband has chosen to discuss the connection between me and my children. “As we all know, it’s never easy for anybody to raise adolescent males… The fact that the justification is based on my Instagram worries me. Long before Instagram, there existed… I gave them my everything. One word only: HURTFUL.
