Over the weekend, Carrie Underwood gave a surprise performance at a pub in Nashville.

The 39-year-old country singer stopped her ladies' night out to join Tom Petty tribute group 

The Heartshakers on stage at Nashville's Fox & Locke bar and venue, where they

sang the singer's 1981 duet with Stevie Nicks, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around."

"Last night the one and only @carrieunderwood came here and went on stage with @theheartshakers

to rock the house with a classic!!" was the message that accompanied a video of the

performance posted on Fox & Locke's official Instagram account on Sunday.
